Chiyoko's sitting on the bed between Atem and Yugi, a cup of cherry blossom tea in her hands. The latter two left two weeks ago for a tournament and both Kame Game and Kaiba Corp were busy before that so it's been a while since they've been able to spend a night together.
They called every night while they were away, but the house still felt weirdly empty to Chiyoko without them. Sugoroku spends pretty much every weekday in the shop as it is and Michiko had to help out since the boys weren't around. Chiyoko would usually also help, but she had both a deadline for work and a deadline for a course Seto was having her take.
Shogi was busy working from home (even though she's lived with them for a few years at this point, she still has no idea what he does for work) and someone had been over pretty much every day to take Akari to the park or somewhere else so Chiyoko could focus on her deadlines.
So sure, there's 4 other people living here, but everyone's been busy. It's nice that things have finally calmed down.
Yugi gets up and starts looking through their collection of games for Mario Kart. Chiyoko looks out the skylight at the stars. It's going to be a wonderful night.
